DealerX search
Overview
DealerX → Search is one box over leads and contacts. It matches names, phone numbers (in any format), emails, lead numbers, and the VIN, stock number or description of a vehicle of interest. The small search box at the top of the DealerX menu section goes to the same page.
Steps
- Type what you know and press Enter or click Search.
- Use Scope to search only Leads or only Contacts. Messages arrives in a later release.
- Narrow leads by Temperature, Sales stage, Rep and Updated in last (7, 30 or 90 days). With filters ticked you can search with an empty box to list the matching leads.
- Results are grouped under Leads and Contacts; click one to open it.
Your last 12 searches are kept in this browser under Recent; click one to run it again or Clear to forget them.
Tips
- Deleted leads never appear in search. Use the Deleted quick filter on the leads list instead.
- Searching "42" finds lead #42 as well as anything containing 42.
